Exterior
Painting

We undertake all manner of exterior redecoration works on all types of properties, regardless of size or scope of works: Private houses, Blocks of Flats and Commercial properties.

 

We are familiar with all types of exterior paint or stain coating systems and will offer advice on coatings that will provide the best protection for the surfaces required.

 

Blaze can also undertake any minor building repairs that may be necessary, as well as repairs or replacements of any decayed timbers.

 

We have a very good working relationship with a local scaffolding company who have been providing all scaffold for us, when required, over the last 8 + years. 

Interior
Painting

We undertake all manner of interior decoration works; All and any redecoration works together with decoration of “new” surfaces – extensions and new build properties, regardless of size or scope of works: Private Houses, New Build Houses, Blocks of Flats and Commercial properties.

 

We are familiar with the vast array of decoration systems now available on the market and will provide all necessary advice to ensure the project is carried out to the client’s satisfaction.

 

As well as the decoration aspect of the work, we will give full advice and guidance on the preparatory aspect of the works, whether it is overcoming water damage staining, blown or defective plaster, or whether simply working to restore aged surfaces back to their former life.

 

We can carry out any minor building works that may flag up at the preparatory works stage, so to enable the project to flow to a smooth conclusion.

Furniture &
Kitchen Painting

We carry out all in situ painting of kitchen units, cabinets, doors etc, using suitable preparatory methods and tried and tested paint systems that can revitalise, and in some cases completely transform the original “factory finish” of a kitchen.

 

Quick drying paints are used so to speed up the application, ensuring an “important” hub of the property is not left out of commission for too long!

 

With regards the Furniture painting, again, we have commonly carried out this work to “refresh” jaded/worn surfaces, however we can also start from scratch using “donor” furniture to create a bespoke item (see photos).

Wallpaper
Hanging

We have a combined in-house knowledge of over 40 years’ worth of experience in wallpaper hanging and are confident in hanging all manner of wallcoverings.
 

There is a vast array of wallpapers now available, from the standard 52cm wide wallpapers up to the wider 120cm, from a numerous manufacturers and suppliers.
 

We will calculate quantity of rolls required, as well as advise on suitable adhesive.

Handyman
Service

Over the last few years, we have been asked more and more if we can assist in carrying out minor handyman jobs alongside our decoration works.

  • Curtain and blind hanging

  • Easing doors and windows

  • Changing door ironmongery

  • Fitting safety handrails

  • Minor electrical works (done by our approved electrician)

This is now something that we can offer as a stand-alone requirement, not necessarily alongside decoration works.
